Teaching activities - 2020/21 Academic year
Dear students,
the details regarding the teaching modalities for next academic year are still under discussion and may vary according to Covid-19 epidemic trends.
However, we would like to share with you some guidelines which have been defined at this stage:
a) September exams on campus - Students residing outside Piedmont will be able to sit the exams remotely during the Autumn session (the same possibility for the Winter session is yet to be confirmed)
b) Lessons attendance on campus starting from September - The percentage of the students who will be able to attend lessons on premises is yet to be defined, the most accredited hypothesis is to occupy spaces at 50% of their maximum capacity. The shifts will be timely defined and will probably be based on the initials of the students' surname. Students will have to confirm their intention to attend lessons on campus through a survey.
c) In any case, lessons will be accessible via WebEx, at least throughout the first semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. While on premises, professors will livestream the lecture in parallel on WebEx, record it and upload the recordings for later access.
d) At the professor's discretion there will be the possibility to record some theoretical short videos to be uploaded on Moodle for everyone, coupled with tutorials in class with different groups of students.
