Course objectives
The themes and topics, as well as skills and abilities that are intended to form, are an essential part of the contents needed to offer specific training in the field of change and innovation management within companies. In particular the course provides knowledge and understanding, relating to the development of innovation management within companies, complemented with an initial capacity to apply this knowledge and understanding to simple case studies.

At the end the student should know:
- Problems and methods of innovation management;
- how a technological innovation improves over time;
- how a technological innovation spreads over time;
- What is the value of an innovation, with reference also to the markets with positive network externalities;

Course delivery
Lessons lasting 35 hours in total (5 CFU), which take place in the classroom with the help of projections; They are also provided case studies and corporate meeting.

Learning assessment methods
Knowledge and skills provided will be verified through a written test with questions. The preparation will be considered adequate (with marks expressed out of thirty), if the student will demonstrate ability to synthesize, using the terminology required; whether on their own - so, without depending on the presentation of the arguments offered by the texts - will prove familiar with the management of innovation within the enterprise; whether you will be able to think on simple connections between various topics covered during the course.
The exam lasts 90 minutes. To pass the exam the students has to take 18/30.

Program
The first part concerns the aspects relating to the dynamics of technological innovation. Then, the course focuses on the strategic management of technological innovation, while the third part focuses on implementation of management processes and organizational innovation. The monographic part regards the phenomenon of location choices of multinational companies.
