Admission Requirements

► NEW ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR THE MASTER DEGREES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT

Please regularly check this page for updates

Due to the current Covid19 pandemic health emergency situation, its uncertain future evolution and the consequent logistical and operational difficulties of organizing an online entry test or an onsite test under controlled social distancing measures in case of a very large number of candidates, the restrictions on the number of students have been suspended.

Therefore, for the 2020/21 academic year only, the following master's degrees of the Department of Management will not have a restricted number of places, provided that the students comply with the minimum requirements aimed at assessing their adequate preparation

  • Amministrazione e Controllo Aziendale
  • Business Administration
  • Direzione d’Impresa, Marketing e Strategia
  • Finanza Aziendale e Mercati Finanziari
  • Professioni Contabili     

The application for the assessment of curricular requirements and adequate personal preparation can be submitted in one of the following periods:

a) First period:June 8 2020 - June 22 2020, by 12 noon

b) Second period:27 July 2020 - 24 August 2020, by 12 noon

For all the above courses, the assessment of curricular requirements and adequate preparation will take place as follows:

Master’s Degree in Business Administration

Candidates will be considered eligible and therefore will not have to take further tests to ascertain their preparation if:

  1. they graduated or will graduate from three-year degree classes L18 (ex L17) or L33 (ex L28);
  2. their Degree mark is equal or higher than 92/110 or if they are undergraduates with an average equal to or higher than 24/30, of the exams recorded by March 31, 2020.
  3. they have a B2 level English certificate or have obtained a three-year degree in English.

Any certification included in the list issued by Miur (according to the Decree of the General Director 118 of 28 February 2017) is considered valid.

Candidates who don’t meet all the requirements will have to take a test which will assess their adequate preparation on Friday 11 September 2020. Candidates who obtain a normalized score higher than 67/100 will be considered eligible for enrolment. Further details about the test are available in the Regulations.

The assessment test of adequate preparation

The test is scheduled for Friday 11 September 2020.

It will be divided into 50 questions and will focus on the subjects indicated in the syllabus.

The methods (remotely or onsite) will be defined according to the evolution of the health situation and will be published in the Regulation.

The Master’s Degree in Business Administration has a capped number of places (100) and requires students to sit an entrance test.

75 places are reserved to Italian, European or non-EU students legally residing in Italy and 25 places for Non-Eu students residing outside Italy and Marco Polo students.

 

Who can apply?

Students who graduated or are about to graduate in one of the following three-year degree courses:

  • Ex. DM 270/2004: degree classes from L-01 to L-43, class L/DC (Scienze della Difesa e della Sicurezza) and class LMG1 (single cycle Law Degree).
  • Ex. DM 509/1999: first level degree classes from 1 to 42, class DS1 (Scienze della Difesa e della Sicurezza).

For candidates with a non-Italian Bachelor’s Degree curricular requirements will be assessed by the International Students Office of the University of Torino.

Note: the requirements and admission procedures are different depending on the student’s status:

  • Non-EU students residing outside Italy
  • Italian, European or non-EU students legally residing in Italy and Marco Polo Project students

 

Non-EU students residing outside Italy.

  1. In order to enrol you must hold a first-cycle degree (at least 3-year undergraduate degree)
  2. Rankings will be based on your GMAT test score (General Management Admission Test). In order to apply, your GMAT test score should be equal to or higher than 300 and obtained after January 1, 2016.
  3. You should apply to Business Administration call for applications through MyUnito from May 20 to June 19 at 1:00 p.m.

 

Italian, European or non-EU students legally residing in Italy and Marco Polo Project students.

  1. In order to enrol you must hold a first-cycle degree (at least 3-year undergraduate degree)
  2. You should sit a compulsory admission test in English:
  • May 20 - 11:00 (rescheduled due to Coronavirus emergency) - for students planning to graduate within July 17
  • September 1 - 11:00 - for students planning to graduate within October 16

The test is composed of 100 multiple choices questions. The minimum score for enrolment is 15/100.

Both tests will take place at the School of Management and Economics, corso Unione Sovietica, 218 bis, Torino.

3. Two calls for applications:

1st call for applications: register to the April 20 admission test through MyUniTO from 4 to 23 of March (1:00 p.m.). You can express just one preference.

N.B. If you are admitted and you do not complete the matriculation in July, you will have to sit again the admission test in September.

Rankings will be published by May 18 and matriculations will be from 20 to 22 of July.

2nd call for applications: register to the September 1st admission test through MyUniTO from July 1 to August 4 (1:00 p.m). You can express two preferences

Rankings will be published by September 22 and matriculations will be from October 19 to November 16.
