❗️ Important information | Class attendance first term

Dear students,

Please find below some information regarding class attendance during the first term:

CLASS ATTENDANCE | To ensure social distancing during this term, for some courses you will be divided into groups, depending on the first letter of your surname.

Group A: surnames from A to L
Group B: surnames from M to Z

Group changes will not be possible. Lessons will be livestreamed and recorded on Moodle. Information to access the virtual classrooms on WebEx will be published on the Moodle page of each course.

Each group will attend the courses of the first semester according to the timetable indicated on the calendars. You can find the subdivision of the lessons per group both on the 1st term calendar and on UP.

For 1st year students: you will be divided into groups for all courses. Further information about groups division will be published soon at the notice page and on the calendars. Tutorials will also be organized in groups and livestreamed on WebEx. The calendars are available at this link

For 2nd year students: you will be divided into subgroups just for a few courses. We remind you to fill in the form you have received by email. Attendance and groups division will be decided on the basis of that form.

I have filled the form regarding class attendance but I have changed my mind, should I write you an email? No, but please update the form.

EXAMS | Regardless of your choice related to courses attendance (in person/remote), when registering for exams, students who opt for online exams must indicate in the NOTES section one of the following comments:

  • I REQUEST ONLINE EXAMINATION BECAUSE OF CONDITION A) – I AM IN A VULNERABLE POSITION

  • I REQUEST ONLINE EXAMINATION BECAUSE OF CONDITION B) -  I RESIDE / LIVE OUTSIDE OF THE PIEDMONT REGION, IN xxx (insert region / country)

  • I REQUEST ONLINE EXAMINATION BECAUSE OF CONDITION C) -  I AM TEMPORARY OUTSIDE OF THE PIEDMONT REGION FOR: xxx (insert motivation).

BOOKS | You will be asked to collect your books on specific dates and times that will be communicated on the website and by email. You can authorize friends to collect books on your behalf. You cannot collect books and teaching materials at the Coordination office at your convenience.

HELPDESK | The Master's Degree course helpdesks will be open to the public just by appointment on specific days. We will also create a virtual helpdesk every morning from 9 to 11:30. Information about appointment registration will be published soon.

INFORMATION | Considering the rapidly changing pace of  the legal framework and of logistical and organizational measures, we kindly ask you to regularly check the notices section of the website and your institutional email for updates.
