Jane Klausman scholarship

Published: Thursday, March 18, 2021

The Jane Klausman scholarship was introduced in 1998, in honor of Jane Klausman, a Zonta member, American member of the Parliament and businesswoman. She left a great inheritance to Zonta International, in order to create a fund dedicated to all high-achieving young female students of Economics and Finance who desire to start a career in the business world.

Since its establishment, the Jane Klausman Prize has been assigned to more than 320 young students from 44 different countries.

Female students attending Bachelor’s Degrees (preferably enrolled to the 3rd year) and Master’s Degrees of the School of Management and Economics can compete for the Jane Klausman Prize. The aim of the Prize is to sustain the winners who intend to obtain high-responsibility roles in firms and in the business world, by supporting their ambition to become senior managers (CEOs, directors).

The prize value amounts to 8,000 USD for each winner of the International Prize, 2,000 USD for each District winner and 300€ for each Area winner.

12 International prizes will be assigned, selected among the District applications and one winner per District.

The candidates must have obtained excellent results from their previous academic years and they must have concluded a working experience (preferably in a firm), in order to stand out and have an international prospect, along with professional ambitions well-focused on the business world and commercial companies.
